End of my school Life

23 03 2007

Its so amazing !!
So truly amazing…lemme explain..

Since i started my school life my elders, senoirs and everbody concerned had always one advice in common…enjoy your school life while you still have it……the same fun, same school rules and the same irresponsibility comes once in a lifetime with its some 15 year saga so do enjoy it….’while you still have it’….and all i worried about was how would i fare in the next exam, from where will i copy down my next home-work,whether i was watching too much TV,who was the bitch lying about me and so on.

Never stood calm and stared.
Never realized i was wasting the most precious period of my life.
Never realized i would never have what i have today…not even for a billion dollars.

And so now when i stand and stare at the end of the road……i fell sorry not to have paid any heed to my elders…True, seriously true school life is really an essay to write about and everybody has his/her unique say in it…

The countless fights we had with our friends, the countless times we critisized the discipline system when it was we who broke most of the rules ,the countless times we fell off with our friends only to make amends the next day haunts us..bigtime.

What will i not give to be seated right now at the very back of the class sifting through radio stations on the mobile while the teacher went on why we students never improved.

What will i not give to relive those frenetic last-minute revisions before exams and heated discussion after exams.

What will i not give to have another snack at the school canteen though of course not out of myown pocket.

What will i not give for those numerous plans we made over free EVS and Gen. Studies periods many of which inevitably got converted into games periods..

Really, somebody needs a time machine very dearly.
And yes, love it or hate we cant ignore it ..we will miss each of the painstaking as well as wonderful days of our school life be it at St. Stephens or Kendriya Vidyalaya.
I did learn one thing-Just as we cant live in the past we cannot live for the future as well…Preparing for future is all right but we should enjoy what we have today so that we dont cry about it later.
